Information on “Personal Use” of Deaflympics Competition Photos
To all athletes who participated in the Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics
Thank you very much for your outstanding performances and participation in the Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics.
PARAPHOTO has received many inquiries from athletes wishing to keep competition photos as personal mementos.
We have consulted with the Media Desk of the Tokyo Deaflympics Organising Committee. Based on their confirmation, we would like to share PARAPHOTO’s policy regarding the personal use of photos.
■ Photos may be provided for personal use
According to the Organising Committee, it is permissible to provide photos to athletes and their family members under the following conditions:
Permitted conditions
The photos are kept solely for personal, commemorative purposes
All photos are provided free of charge
Copyright remains with the photographer, and secondary use (reproduction, resale, redistribution, or use by other media) is not permitted
The Organising Committee places no restrictions on personal SNS posting
※ If possible, we kindly request a credit such as “Photo: PARAPHOTO”

■ About photo availability from PARAPHOTO
PARAPHOTO’s photography team is organizing images after each competition and uploading selected photos to our official Facebook photo albums.
You may download any photos featuring yourself from the albums (with credits included in the image).

PARAPHOTO did not cover all competitions.

When posting on SNS, please use the images downloaded from PARAPHOTO’s Facebook albums.
If you use photos outside of Facebook albums, please credit:
“Photo by PARAPHOTO [Photographer Name]”
